Law360, New York (November 22, 2010, 7:32 PM EST) -- British Sky Broadcasting PLC told a U.K. competition authority on Monday that it would remain independent even if News Corp.'s proposed takeover is finalized, the same day the Church of England said the $12.6 billion deal would allow the U.S. media giant to dominate the British media landscape.
