Western Titanium Says Gov't Withheld Info In Fraud Suit

Law360, New York (December 6, 2010, 8:56 PM EST) -- California-based metal supplier Western Titanium Inc. and other defendants on trial for military contracting fraud have urged a federal court to declare the case a mistrial, claiming the government improperly withheld key information that allegedly is material to the defense and clears many of the allegations against Western.

Western, along with Mach 2 Metals Inc. and Western’s former CEO, lodged a bid in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California on Monday, seeking a mistrial and dismissal of the indictment.
