Burn Pit MDL Stayed Pending Abu Ghraib Appeals

Law360, New York (December 13, 2010, 2:50 PM EST) -- A federal judge overseeing the multidistrict litigation over allegedly toxic burn pits operated by KBR Inc., Halliburton Co. and other military contractors in Iraq and Afghanistan has stayed the proceedings pending the resolution of similar suits presently on appeal.
