Teva Settles In Bayer Suit Over Generic Yaz

Law360, New York (December 14, 2010, 6:19 PM EST) -- Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. has settled a patent infringement suit brought by Bayer AG over the generics maker's version of oral contraceptive Yaz.

Judge Kent J. Dawson of the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada signed an order Monday that dismissed with prejudice a case in which two Bayer units accused Teva and its Barr Pharmaceuticals LLC subsidiary of infringing three patents.
