N.Y. Health Provider Labels Becton Anti-Competitive

Law360 (April 2, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A Bronx, N.Y.-based geriatric center has filed an antitrust suit against Becton Dickinson & Co., hurling monopoly accusations by now familiar to the medical device maker.

The Hebrew Home for the Aged in Riverdale filed the suit Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, asking the court for class action status. The suit seeks trebled damages, costs of the suit and attorneys’ fees.
