Ex-Cox Manager Flees From Authorities

Law360, New York (April 3, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Faced with an indictment for insider-trading and other charges, a former manager of investor relations for Cox Communications Inc. has given federal authorities the slip.

Frank R.V. Loomans, 37, was being sought as a fugitive by federal officials after he disappeared following his indictment for insider-trading, conspiracy, making false statements to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and obstruction of a federal securities fraud investigation, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office on Tuesday.
