Broadcom, SiRF Lay Down Swords Over GPS Patents

Law360, New York (January 10, 2011, 7:17 PM EST) -- Wireless technology company Broadcom Corp. said Monday that it has resolved a long-running, multifront battle with SiRF Technology Inc., its U.K. parent and several affiliates, settling six suits filed over alleged infringements of GPS, wireless and semiconductor technology patents.
