GAO Scraps Protest Over Customs Hangar Lease

Law360 (January 11, 2011, 4:17 PM EST) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office has denied Northwest Airport Management LP's protest of the necessity of required upgrades at hangar space it leases to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection in Texas.

Northwest challenged several provisions in Customs' solicitation for new lease proposals, saying the new requirements were unduly restrictive of competition, according to the GAO's Jan. 5 ruling.
