Judge Sends Tribune Paper Hawkers' Suit To Mediation

Law360, New York (January 13, 2011, 3:59 PM EST) -- A bankruptcy judge declined Thursday to rule on a class certification bid by promoters of a free daily newspaper over claims that parent publisher Tribune Co. had misclassified them as independent contractors, ordering the case to mediation.
