Money Manager Threatened To Kill 47 Regulators: FBI

Law360, New York (January 14, 2011, 5:40 PM EST) -- A commodities trader facing civil enforcement actions over unregistered commodity pools has been arrested for allegedly threatening to murder 47 attorneys and officials of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission and other financial regulatory bodies.

Vincent P. McCrudden, 49, was arrested Thursday at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey by the FBI, according to prosecutors.

McCrudden allegedly sent threats via e-mail to the attorneys prosecuting the CFTC's civil suit against him, and posted an "execution list" on his website...
