Class Action Has Beef With Taco Bell's Labeling

Law360, New York (January 21, 2011, 3:45 PM EST) -- A California woman has launched a proposed class action accusing Taco Bell Corp. of misleading customers about the substantial amount of nonmeat products in its so-called seasoned beef tacos, burritos, quesadillas and other offerings.

Amanda Obney filed the putative class action in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California on Wednesday on behalf of tens of thousands of customers throughout the country who bought beef menu items from Taco Bell restaurants.
