Hockey Player Slams Ducks For Discrimination

Law360, New York (January 26, 2011, 7:50 PM EST) -- A Jewish hockey player has sued the Anaheim Ducks Hockey Club LLC for religious discrimination, claiming he was benched after complaining about anti-Semitic remarks made by his minor league coaches.

Jason Bailey filed suit Tuesday in the Superior Court of California for Orange County, alleging discrimination, retaliation and wrongful termination. The suit claims the two head coaches at the Ducks' minor league Bakersfield Condors franchise repeatedly harassed him while he played there.
