Judge Orders Rajaratnam To Give Wiretaps To SEC

Law360, New York (February 1, 2011, 7:51 PM EST) -- A federal judge has ordered Raj Rajaratnam to hand over wiretapped communications to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in its civil insider trading case against the Galleon Group LLC co-founder.

Judge Jed Rakoff directed Rajaratnam and co-defendant Danielle Chiesi to produce the information that "they have now conceded [is] relevant" no later than Feb. 4, as well as additional communications by Feb. 11, according to his order on Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
