Wii Infringes Motion-Sensitive Sound Patent: Suit

Law360 (February 4, 2011, 1:56 PM EST) -- Nintendo of America Inc.'s Wii video game system infringes a patent related to motion-sensitive sound effects, Ogma LLC alleges in a new suit that also targets video game companies like Activision Blizzard Inc. and Sony Computer Entertainment America Inc.

Ogma filed its lawsuit Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. Other defendants include Lego Systems Inc., Harmonix Music Systems Inc., Jakks Pacific Inc., Nyko Technologies Inc., Parrot Inc., Playhut Inc. and Vtech Electronics North America LLC.
