Mercedes Hit With Class Action Over Car Radiators

Law360, New York (February 4, 2011, 7:12 PM EST) -- Mercedes-Benz USA LLC hid dangerous, costly defects in the radiators on some of its cars, a newly filed putative class action alleges.

The automaker allegedly knew about the problems but refused to recall the radiators, instead dealing with customer complaints through secret repair and replacement programs, according to the suit filed Wednesday by attorney Robert L. Starr in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
