Listerine Marketing Actions Consolidated In Fla.

Law360, New York (February 11, 2011, 3:03 PM EST) -- Four class actions alleging Johnson & Johnson misrepresented the effectiveness of its Listerine mouthwash in fighting plaque above the gum line have been consolidated in a multidistrict litigation in a Florida federal court.

The U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation consolidated the actions Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, saying all the lawsuits shared similar factual questions. J&J supported the consolidation, according to the JPML's order.
