Prince Owes €2.2M For Canceled Concert, Suit Says

Law360, New York (February 15, 2011, 2:38 PM EST) -- An Irish concert promoter is pursuing the musician Prince in California state court in an attempt to collect €2.2 million ($3 million) the artist allegedly owes the company for abruptly canceling a concert in Dublin.

Prince had agreed to pay the money to settle a lawsuit over his unexplained cancelation of a Croke Park Stadium concert in June 2008, but has not paid any portion of the promised sum, according to a complaint filed by MCD Productions on Feb. 9 in Los Angeles Superior Court....
