Ruling Puts Suit Against CNET On The Ropes

Law360 (April 13, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge in California has handed down a ruling that could be the death knell for a derivative shareholder suit against CNET Networks Inc. over options backdating, granting CNET’s motion to dismiss but asking the parties for a supplemental briefing and leaving open the possibility of an amended complaint.
