NJ Court Revives Giants Stadium Escalator Suit

Law360, New York (February 16, 2011, 7:16 PM EST) -- A New Jersey appeals court on Wednesday revived a man's negligence claims against the owner of the former Giants Stadium over an escalator accident after a 2006 football game.

A two-judge panel in the Appellate Division of New Jersey Superior Court partly overturned a summary judgment ruling that Thomas DiBartolomeo failed to state a claim in his case against the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority and Schindler Elevator Co.
