AT&T, Tech Workers Reach $12.5M Deal In FLSA Suit

Law360, New York (February 18, 2011, 5:15 PM EST) -- A federal judge in California has initially approved a $12.5 million settlement between AT&T Inc. and six classes of technical support workers who alleged the telecom titan denied them overtime compensation and break periods.

Judge Lucy H. Koh of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California granted conditional certification to six separate classes of 816 employees, paving the way for the four lead plaintiffs to notify other employees of the agreement.
