Training Co. Slams Navy Over Small Business Awards

Law360, New York (February 24, 2011, 5:18 PM EST) -- A military training outfit filed a suit Wednesday alleging the U.S. Navy awarded two anti-terrorism training contracts that were designated for small businesses to a company that did not qualify.

Assessment and Training Solutions Consulting Corp. filed its complaint in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, asking the court for a preliminary injunction that would prohibit the Navy from moving forward with the two contracts — given to TSO Armor & Training Inc. — while the suit is pending.
