SEC Opens FCPA Probe Of Kraft Facility In India

Law360, New York (February 28, 2011, 7:05 PM EST) -- Kraft Foods Inc. said in a regulatory filing Monday that it is being investigated by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for possible violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act at a facility in India.

Kraft, which acquired the facility as part of its purchase of Cadbury PLC, said it received a subpoena from the SEC on Feb. 1.
