'Partridge' Star Seeks Class Status In Publicity Suit

Law360, New York (March 8, 2011, 1:28 PM EST) -- Actress Shirley Jones, who starred in the 1970s TV show "The Partridge Family," on Monday asked a California court for class certification in a lawsuit alleging that photo licensing company Corbis Corp. used celebrities' likenesses without their consent.

Jones, who is also seeking partial summary judgment, filed the motion in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. She alleges Corbis is selling licenses for at least 10 pictures of her on its website without her permission.
