9th Circ. Asked To Revive Combat Chopper Crash Suit

Law360, New York (March 18, 2011, 5:43 PM EDT) -- The families of eight U.S. soldiers killed in a 2007 helicopter crash in Afghanistan urged the Ninth Circuit on Friday to reinstate their product liability case against Boeing Co. and others, saying their claims were wrongly dismissed under the military contractor defense.

In oral arguments before a three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, Daniel Dell'Osso of The Brandi Law Firm, an attorney for the plaintiffs, said that defendants Boeing, Honeywell International Corp. and Goodrich Pump & Engine Control Systems Inc....
