Female Bayer Workers Launch $100M Sex Bias Suit

Law360, New York (March 21, 2011, 5:06 PM EDT) -- A group of current and former Bayer Corp. employees filed a class action in New Jersey on Monday seeking $100 million for women who have allegedly suffered systemic sex discrimination while working for the health care company.

The employees accused Bayer and its U.S. unit Bayer HealthCare Pharmaceuticals of violating Title VII of the Civil Rights Act and state law in a complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey by Katherine M. Kimpel of Sanford Wittels & Heisler LLP....
