Bed, Bath & Beyond Suit To Go Forward

Law360 (April 26, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has once again refused to dismiss claims against May Department Stores Co. and Federated Department Stores Inc. in a proposed antitrust class action alleging that they conspired to boycott their rival, Bed, Bath & Beyond.

Chief Judge Walker made his decision Tuesday in the U.S. District Court in the Northern District of California a month after he had granted summary judgment to Waterford Wedgwood USA, but not for the two department store operators named in the consolidated action.
