Unilever Wins Bid To Transfer Breyers Suit To Calif.

Law360, New York (March 29, 2011, 7:57 PM EDT) -- Unilever PLC convinced a New Jersey federal judge Monday to transfer to California a putative class action claiming the cocoa in its Breyers ice cream is not "all natural," having failed in its bid to have the suit dismissed entirely.

Unilever had moved to dismiss, stay or transfer the suit, and Judge William H. Walls of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey granted the motion to transfer the case to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
