Made-For-TV Movie Maker Secures Path Out Of Ch. 11

Law360, New York (March 29, 2011, 7:00 PM EDT) -- A New York bankruptcy judge on Tuesday approved a restructuring plan for made-for-TV movie producer RHI Entertainment, setting the company on track to exit Chapter 11 protection mainly by exchanging first-lien debt for stock.

Judge Stuart M. Bernstein granted motions approving a disclosure statement for the plan and confirming the plan in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, subject to a review of a “quite lengthy”confirmation order, the judge noted.
