Judge Postpones NFL Lockout Ruling

Law360, New York (April 6, 2011, 6:56 PM EDT) -- A Minnesota federal judge overseeing a proposed antitrust class action stemming from the NFL’s labor dispute reportedly said Wednesday she expected to reach a decision in two weeks on whether to put a stop to the league’s lockout.

Judge Susan Richard Nelson of the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota heard more than four hours of arguments from attorneys for the football players and owners, and afterward she urged both sides to negotiate a settlement as she considers her decision, St. Paul’s Pioneer Press...
