Judge Certifies Class In FLSA Suit Against USAA

Law360 (April 30, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A judge has granted conditional class certification in a lawsuit that accuses a financial services company of not paying certain employees federally mandated overtime rates.

U.S. District Judge Colleen McMahon on Wednesday signed off on an order granting conditional certification to a class comprising people who had worked as “Special Investigators” for United Services Automobile Association in the past three years.
