Google Denies Claims In Viacom Copyright Suit

Law360 (April 30, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Google Inc. has lashed out at Viacom Inc.’s $1 billion copyright infringement lawsuit against Google and online video forum YouTube Inc. in a court battle that could set the stage for new copyright laws in the digital era.

On Monday, Google denied all claims of misconduct raised by Viacom in its March suit in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
