Judge Dismisses Claim Against Banks From Refco Suit

Law360 (May 2, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has dismissed claims against a former Refco Inc. executive and three banks from a class action filed on the heels of Refco's collapse.

In a ruling Monday, Judge Gerald E. Lynch of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York dismissed some of the claims against Credit Suisse Securities LLC, Banc of America Securities LLC and Deutsche Bank Securities, as well as those against former chief financial officer Robert Trosten.
