Woman Drops Beef Over Taco Bell Labeling

Law360, New York (April 19, 2011, 12:46 PM EDT) -- A California woman on Monday dropped a putative class action accusing Taco Bell Corp. of misleading consumers about the content of its beef products, saying the fast food chain had made necessary changes in its marketing and product disclosure.

Amanda Obney dismissed the suit without prejudice following about two months of negotiations over Taco Bell’s alleged mislabeling of its seasoned beef menu items, according to Obney’s attorney, Dee Miles of Beasley Allen Crow Methvin Portis & Miles PC.
