Judge Certifies Class Of Comcast Customers

Law360, New York (May 7, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A judge has certified a Philadelphia class in an antitrust suit that alleges Comcast Corp. established a monopoly in the region.

In a ruling handed down Wednesday, Judge John R. Padova of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania rejected Comcast’s argument that the class was too big and that the named plaintiffs could not adequately represent all members.
