Garmin, Callaway, Others Sued Over Golf GPS Patent

Law360, New York (May 11, 2011, 2:18 PM EDT) -- GPS Industries LLC sued Garmin International Inc., Callaway Golf Co. and others in Texas on Tuesday, claiming the companies infringe a patent for golf GPS systems.

GPS Industries, which develops devices that golfers can use to measure distances on the golf course, claims that similar golf range-finder products marketed by the defendants infringe one of its patents.
