GAO Nixes Protests Over $1B Afghan Security Contract

Law360, New York (May 12, 2011, 4:08 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office has denied two protests of a $1 billion Afghanistan security contract, rejecting arguments that the Department of Defense improperly evaluated the past performance of winning contractor DynCorp International LLC, according to decisions made public Thursday.
