BofA, Merrill Specialists Protested Unpaid OT: Suit

Law360, New York (May 12, 2011, 8:28 PM EDT) -- Back office staff members suing Bank of America Corp. and Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc. over unpaid overtime wages amended their New York collective action Thursday, saying so-called senior specialists had complained to their bosses about not being paid overtime.

Vladislav Baranenko and Arati Mahajan also added to the complaint that the defendants in September 2009 reclassified the senior specialist jobs as nonexempt positions, which would have entitled them to overtime pay, but then told the employees to only record 40 hours of work each week...
