Court Affirms $17M Win For Ga. Garage Contractor

Law360, New York (May 13, 2011, 6:30 PM EDT) -- A Georgia state appeals court on Wednesday upheld a $17 million verdict against Savannah, Ga., in a dispute with contractor Batson-Cook Co. over its subcontractor's claims that unanticipated soil conditions at an underground parking garage project caused costly delays.
