St. Paul Sues Broncos Over Workers' Comp Coverage

Law360, New York (June 7, 2011, 5:19 PM EDT) -- St. Paul Fire & Marine Insurance Co. sued PDB Sports Ltd. — the company behind the Denver Broncos professional football team — in Colorado on Monday, claiming it does not owe coverage for underlying workers' compensation claims brought by several former players.

The insurer says that nine former Broncos players, including Hall of Fame running back Floyd Little and Pro Bowl and All Pro cornerback Louie Wright, have brought claims against PDB in California as a result of injuries that they allegedly sustained in that state....
