3 Traders Found Guilty In Galleon Spinoff Trial

Law360, New York (June 13, 2011, 1:17 PM EDT) -- A New York jury found former Galleon Group LLC trader Zvi Goffer, his brother and another investment firm associate guilty on all counts in a case alleging they used confidential tips about mergers gleaned from law firm Ropes & Gray LLP.

Goffer's wife sobbed as the jury foreman repeated the word “guilty” 19 times in New York federal court in reference to charges against the trader, his brother Emanuel Goffer and fellow investment professional Michael Kimelman.
