Gas Cos. Move To Consolidate Temperature Suits

Law360 (May 21, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Several plaintiffs that filed lawsuits against major oil companies and retailers for allegedly failing to adjust fuel prices for higher temperatures are fighting efforts by Exxon Mobil Corp. and Hess Corp., among others, to consolidate the cases in New Jersey district court.

A plaintiffs’ attorney in a case filed earlier this month in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas said Friday that he was joining attorneys in other cases in opposing the move to consolidate the cases.
