Atty Can’t Tap Ex-NFL Players’ Benefits: 11th Circ.

Law360, San Diego (June 22, 2011, 6:13 PM EDT) -- The Eleventh Circuit on Wednesday upheld a ruling that an attorney who successfully represented retired professional football players in their disputes with administrators of the National Football League’s retirement plan could not dip into the players’ disability benefits to cover unpaid legal fees.
