Subcontractor Loses Appeal Over Lost Work From Lear

Law360, New York (June 23, 2011, 7:38 PM EDT) -- A Texas state appeals court on Wednesday affirmed a judgment against a government subcontractor that sued Lear Siegler Services Inc. after a sharp downturn in work to repair and supply aircraft parts, ruling the subcontractor hadn't proven it had been treated unfairly.

Ensil International Corp. accused Lear of deceit, misrepresentation and fraud after it stopped awarding government subcontracts to Ensil, and sought reimbursement for the costs associated with submitting bids that it said Lear had no intention of reviewing.
