Judge Keeps 'Twilight' Case Undead, Banishes It To NY

Law360, Los Angeles (June 28, 2011, 8:31 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Tuesday denied Bath & Body Works Brand Management Inc.'s motion to dismiss a trademark infringement suit brought by “Twilight” film producer Summit Entertainment LLC, but agreed to transfer the case to New York.

“I certainly would not dismiss, that’s certainly denied,” U.S. District Judge Ronald S.W. Lew told attorneys for the parties. “With regard to venue, I think it’s close on both sides. I will grant the motion to transfer to New York.”
