Judge Postpones Raj Sentencing To September

Law360, New York (June 30, 2011, 8:32 PM EDT) -- A New York federal judge on Thursday postponed a sentencing hearing for convicted insider trader and Galleon Group LLC founder Raj Rajaratnam to September.

U.S. District Judge Richard J. Holwell granted a request from both prosecutors and Rajaratnam's attorneys to push back the sentencing, which was originally scheduled for July 29. Sentencing submissions will be due by Aug. 9, with replies due Sept. 9, according to the order.
