Dodgers Look To Depose MLB, Selig In DIP Row

Law360, New York (July 5, 2011, 3:06 PM EDT) -- Los Angeles Dodgers LLC on Tuesday made a broad discovery request of Major League Baseball in a bid to keep its current debtor-in-possession financing in the face of the league's attempt to take control of the club in Delaware bankruptcy proceedings.

The Dodgers are seeking to depose MLB Commissioner Bud Selig, hoping to prove that he abused his powers in connection with a dispute with Dodgers owner Frank McCourt and should not be handed control in the DIP battle.
