Ex-Galleon Adviser Seeks Acquittal, Retrial

Law360, New York (July 12, 2011, 6:55 PM EDT) -- A former Galleon Group LLC investment adviser convicted of helping to bribe former Ropes & Gray LLP lawyers for tips on deals asked a New York federal judge Tuesday to grant him a new trial, arguing prosecutors lacked evidence that he had access to inside information.
