Sheppard Mullin Axed From J-M Sewer Pipe Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (July 14, 2011, 7:54 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Thursday disqualified Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP from defending J-M Manufacturing Co. Inc. in an ex-employee's whistleblower lawsuit over allegedly defective PVC pipe for municipal sewers, after J-M rejected the court's plan to split the case to avoid a conflict of interest with one of the plaintiffs.
