Malaysia Airlines To Pay $3.2M To Exit Air Cargo MDL

Law360, New York (July 14, 2011, 8:32 PM EDT) -- The plaintiffs in a New York multidistrict litigation accusing more than two dozen air cargo carriers of conspiring to fix shipping prices said on Thursday that Malaysia Airlines has agreed to settle claims against it for $3.2 million.

The settlement amount represents approximately 3.7 percent of Malaysia Airlines' sales of air freight shipping services to and form the U.S. to class members during the class period, according to a memorandum in support of the settlement.
