Law360, New York (July 18, 2011, 6:39 PM EDT) -- A New York judge gave final approval Friday to $49 million in settlements allowing Cargolux Airlines International SA, All Nippon Airways Co. Ltd. and Thai Airways International Public Co. Ltd. to exit multidistrict litigation over a worldwide air cargo cartel.
U.S. District Judge John Gleeson also said he would sign off on Qantas Airways Ltd.'s $26.5 million settlement. But that order will not be issued until Aug. 4, when the 90-day post-notice period required under the Class Action Fairness Act expires for that deal.
